Dedicated to helping disabled veterans experience the freedom of the open road, In The Wind fosters healing, fellowship, and adventure through motorcycle riding. By building a supportive community and embracing the spirit of the journey, we empower veterans to rediscover their independence and the joy of life in motion.

1966 H-D Shovelhead Chopper

This one-of-a-kind motorcycle was built by Rawhide Cycles and features a polished and rebuilt motor and transmission. It was painted by Max Schaaf of 4Q Conditioning and earned the prestigious “Best Chopper” award at the Born Free Show. It also made the cover of Choppers Magazine Issue 8, showcasing its standout craftsmanship and unique design.

Nomad Rifle

The JJFU NOMAD 2 is a custom rifle chambered in 5.56, featuring a 16″ steel barrel and equipped with the JJFU Skelly Grip, Arrowhead Muzzle Brake, and JJFU Handguard. Customizations include a cryo-treated fluted bull barrel, optional carbon fiber barrel, a variety of optics, JJFU iron sights, stock options, and custom Cerakote and hardware finishes, making it a highly versatile and uniquely crafted firearm.

Meat Cleaver

Designed and built by Ryan Weeks, this handcrafted piece features a 3/8” 1075 steel blade with a visible hamon. It’s fitted with 1/4” brass scales secured by matching brass pins and includes a lanyard tube for added utility. The knife comes complete with its own custom display stand.
